Arashiyama is is west of Kyoto, in a bamboo forest
After half an hour's walk away from the tourist center of Arashiyama, one can find quieter streets.
We visited a temple and a very old cemetery.
Beneath each stone is a grave.
The remains of the cremation are stored in the circular building.
and everything from bamboo!
At the end of the day we spent in the bustling town of Kyoto: the street Pontocho
