We first identified the dimensions of the set-up by trying a piece of paper to get a sense of grandeur. :-)
Here is a diagram of the set-up: the chip is glued on a sheet of aluminum with silver glue. The top electrode is made with a glass plate on which is deposited a thin conductive layer. The distance between two electrodes is defined by a layer of polyimide.

We went to the lab with a deck on the back, pretty plastic gloves that Stephan hate, and green slippers!

We then glue two layers of 55μm polyimide and a cable. It looks like a streak like that :-)
